BACKGROUND
The group has been building its solar capacity across multiple factories to reduce its carbon footprint and meet its commitment to achieving net zero by 2050 (which requires an estimated additional 300 MWp).
POWER GENERATION
The 12.2 MWp capacity resulted in a reduction of carbon emissions by about 6% for the group.
FINANCE
Approx. BDT 19.6 Crores for the 4.42 MWp plant (received approx. BDT 3.1 Crore grant). IDLC Finance Ltd. provided green financing for some projects.
LOCATION
Various factories, including the largest plant at Ha-Meem Design Limited – KALIGANJ, Gazipur (4.42 MWp).
